Aim of the course Workers’ Specific Risks Training – DSE risks

The course aims at providing all workers with the specific training related to health and safety in workplaces as stated in the European laws.

It also aims at providing a major perception of the risk during work activities.

This course is carried out in compliance with article 37 of D.Lgs. n. 81/2008 and the State-Regions Agreement of 21/12/2011 and 07/07/2016.

The Italian current regulations establish the obligatory training for workers, that is articulated in two parts: Workers’ General Training and Workers’ Specific Training.

This course is a part of the specific training in reference to Display Screen Equipment risks pursuant to article 81 of D.Lgs 81/2008.

Display screen workers can develop disorders affecting the spine, vision and psychological well-being. In addition, many of these effects are generally unknown and underestimated: if not discovered and corrected in time, they can lead to serious diseases. For this reason, the course stresses the importance of periodic preventive visits.

The course continues by illustrating the principles of ergonomics, correct posture and the importance of working in a safe environment.

The last part of the course is dedicated to an analysis of the main office equipment, offering a series of exercises to keep one’s body efficient when working in front of a monitor for long periods.
